One Registry is classified as an Essential Entity under the EU’s NIS-2 Directive and is supervised by Digitaliseringsstyrelsen in Denmark. We have implemented the required cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and registrar oversight procedures to meet NIS-2 obligations. Registrars are required to maintain accurate registration data, support abuse mitigation, and follow identity verification requirements.

We use the Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) to publish non-personal domain registration data, in accordance with ICANN and EU guidelines.
These documents define how domain names are allocated, what obligations apply to registrars and registrants, and the available dispute mechanisms.
