As the registry operator for the .one top-level domain, One Registry is committed to maintaining the security, stability, and integrity of its domain name infrastructure. We actively support global internet resilience through best practices in DNS operations, abuse mitigation, and compliance with EU regulations.

NIS-2 Compliance

One Registry is classified as an Essential Entity under the EU’s NIS-2 Directive and is supervised by Digitaliseringsstyrelsen in Denmark. We have implemented the required cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and registrar oversight procedures to meet NIS-2 obligations. Registrars are required to maintain accurate registration data, support abuse mitigation, and follow identity verification requirements.

DNS Security & RDAP

.one is fully secured with DNSSEC, supported and signed by our backend provider, GoDaddy Registry.

We use the Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) to publish non-personal domain registration data, in accordance with ICANN and EU guidelines.
