Disclosure Requests

What is a disclosure request?

Under certain circumstances, third parties may request disclosure of domain name registration data for domains under the management of One Registry.

Please note that a valid legal basis is required for requesting access to such data. Some information may already be available via the public RDAP service – please check this before submitting a disclosure request.

When does One Registry disclose non-public registration data?

One Registry will only disclose non-public registrant data when the request is lawful, duly justified, and aligns with applicable data protection laws and regulatory obligations. Disclosure decisions are made in accordance with the requirements of the NIS 2 Act and the Danish Executive Order on domain name registration data.

How to submit a disclosure request?

Please use the designated web form to submit your disclosure request. Please only use the form when you want to request certain registration data that is not already published in the publicly available RDAP / Whois databases.

Requests submitted by other means may be delayed or not processed.

How are disclosure requests handled?

You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within 48 hours. A decision on the request will be made within 72 hours, in line with applicable regulation. In cases where disclosure is denied, One Registry will provide the reason for the refusal.
